Yeah, i'm back! To Utah and back to updating my blog! I haven't updated it in such a long time. Not because I haven't had any good news or anything fun going on, cuz there has been plenty of that. I just have been so busy and pretty absent minded.
This weekend was so much fun! My singles ward came down from Idaho and spent the day down in Salt Lake. We started the day off by eating at Rodizio's, it was sooooooo good!
Darci and Sheena even ate a chicken heart...yuck!
After Rodizio''s we went to the matinee and saw the movie 4 Christmases, it was super funny!
After the movie we still had some time before we had to be to the Jazz game so we went and got some frozen yogurt at Spoon Me downtown. Partly because the name was so funny. They made the coolest little things of frozen yogurt and had the best toppings. Some of the options were fruity pebbles or cap'n cruch cereal! Sheena got alot of fruit put on hers, look how cool they looked. It was pretty good too.
The time came for us to make our way to the Jazz game. Luckily some people didn't show up so Brooke was able to come down and meet up with us for the game. So it was a pretty awesome night all toghether, I think I have the coolest singles ward ever!

Harvest
Yeah for potato harvest! Kelsey found this potato the other day that grew in the shape of a J for Jaymee! It is always kinda funny seeing the different things potatoes look like. Trust me, they don't all come out like the ones you buy in the store!
This is my little station where I work. This is where we organize all the incoming bins of potatoes that need to be inspected. I stand right by a huge garage door where the fork lift goes in and out.
Right here you see two wooden boxes, the one to the lower right hand corner is on the huge scale. This is where alot of my job comes in is weighing and checking in all the totes. Up in the top of the picture is the bin dumper, up there is a wooden box full of potatoes that gets dumped into the big white thing. then the potatoes go up that belt and into a washer where they all get washed and separated and that is where all the potato inspecting happens. Exciting right! I think the most exciting thing about my job is my hard hat!
The other day Cambria came to visit Kelsey and I at work, and she liked the hard hat too.
So that is about all I got about Harvest. Everyone has been asking what in the world I do, so I thought I would show some pictures of what goes on.

Football
Fall has come and that means two things harvest and FOOTBALL! Football is pretty much a huge deal in this town and my cute little nephews are tearin up the football field. This is me with Kaylor at his game last week, doesn't he look so stinking cute in all his pads. After the game he thought he was pretty tough and tried to knock me down, so I had to show him who was boss, but it took me a long time to catch him!
Here is little Zac at his game. At his age they have them play flag football, eventhough zac would rather be playing tackle.
What a little stud man eh! Gotta love these cute little kids.

VIVA LA MEXICO
My most recent vacation was sooooo much fun! It started in Phoenix where I met up DeWitt and Rich and we started our killer road trip to El Paso for Haydee and Franco's wedding. The got married in the Juarez temple in Mexico.
Sister Lewis noticed that my A.D.D. was kicking in while we were waiting outside the temple and thought she should make me an "assistant photographer" ...highly doubtful she was able to use any of my pictures...not too many new couples want silly pictures. This is my "i'm a photographer" stance...I don't know where it came from, but I sure wouldn't stop.
Again DeWitt and I ventured off and took our own pictures...darn that A.D.D.
After the wedding and pictures were done we were on our way to the car when we saw a vendor selling ice cream so we had to get Mexican ice cream! It was sooooooo good!
This was the sign on the border...right before we got harassed by the border patrol...I think it was because I look so Mexican.
After we got back to the U.S. we went to the University and took some pictures in this really cool area on campus. Apparently my A.D.D. was kicking in again because I was put to work as an assistant again...
This was the Mariachi band that was at the reception, I sure do love mariachi bands...but they can be pretty loud.
Franco ended up singing to Haydee with the mariachi band...awww, how cute!
The next day we went shopping and this barrel was in our parking garage telling us if we don't pay that this barrel will be chained to our car! I thought this was funny!
We also found this mural that lets all of us know what race God is...apparently according to this wall he is a mexican.
We went by the border to see this small town called Anapra, so Bethany could take pictures for a report she is doing. It is really sad how the houses are made out of scraps and in this case sheets.
DeWitt is talking to some little kids that came out to talk to us. We gave them some cookies for treats, but they didn't like them.

Lake Powell
Last week my Dad and I went down to Lake Powell to go and relax with some of our extended family. We got there late that night and hunted down my Uncle Wally's pickup so we could sleep in the back of it.
Then early that morning our "luxurious" house boat came to pick us up at the docks...I know right...It looks like a Winnebago on pontoons. But hey it runs, well...not always, but it is still fun!
I even got to drive the beut! Look out Lake Powell!
This was my favorite spot on the house boat...despite the constant exhaust fumes!
My Dad is so cute when he gets all serious about jet skiing! Note the backwards hat...he isn't messing around!
We found an awesome place to jump of this little cliff thing, it was so much fun!
Isn't Lake Powell beautiful!

GIRLS WEEKEND!
The other weekend I had some friends come up from Utah to go play at the cabin, this was soooooo much fun! And yes if you look hard, Annaleesa is right behind us...trying to avoid the picture!
We had a blast playing around...we even got muddy (and by we I mean Brooke and I)
Des totally fooled me with her "city girlism's" we were going down a hill and this tree was in our way...she totally did her thing and showed the tree who's boss!
The cowboy or should I say cowgirl came out in Brooke while she tore through the creek!
We found a good resting spot and just hung out for a while. This is where Annaleesa was able to get some deep thinking done.
We drove up to the top of one of the trails and there was an awesome view, it felt like we could see forever! Okay...well at least to the Tetons.
4th of July
We had a the best 4th of July! We went boating during the day and had a party in the backyard later that night with our own fireworks show! Most of the show was put on by my 11 year old nephew and his grandma...I know I know it doesn't sound exciting, but I think you all would have been very surprised! Especially when a bottle rocket flew past your head.
This is us just hanging out int the backyard eating, playing guitar hero on the projector, and throwing fire crackers at each other.
This is where things started to get interesting...and by interesting I mean there was a concern that someone was going to lose a finger or even the whole hand. But it kept things interesting and it was a fun night!
The next day we went and rode motorcycles up by the cabin. Don't I have the cutest family ever!
I believe this was the first time Cambria was de-panced, she didn't really know what to do. Poor girl, but she better get used to it if she want's to survive this family!
