A Night At The Movies

It was a nice Monday evening, lots of excitement in the air. You see, this was my first evening out on the town since I had been all cooped up thank to my dear friend Mr. Bronchitis. The plan was to meet my BFF at a Sundance film showing at 9:00. Oh I was so excited! I put on my new favorite blue hat (thank you Jonna) so I could be looking my finest, and I strutted out the door. Upon Arrival parking was a little full...so I did it Idaho style and created my own parking space. Ran across the street and met Brooke with my ticket and she showed me to our seats. I was giddy like a little school girl as I took my seat thinking what a fun crowd! Well not long after the lights were dimmed and the movie began. Now I was feeling a little self conscious about my cough...mostly because I was the ONLY one in the room coughing, and this seemed to be a very quiet movie. This apparently wasn't going to be the issue of the night. A couple minutes into the movie I received a text message concerning a work issue. Now...I understand this isn't something that you should do during a movie as it could be very distracting to others. So to try and avoid any rudeness I tuck my phone under my arm and answer my text very discretely. Not long after this the lady to my right kicked my foot...yes KICKED my foot and leaned over and said in a very stern 2nd grade teacher voice "that is very rude!" in shock I said "oh...I'm sorry..." and put my phone away. It took a while for things to set in for me...but once it did, I had many choice comebacks to say to her...which I never worked up enough guts to say to her, and the timing wasn't right anyways. Lady to the right...I have one thing to say to you...If I knew where you lived I would most definitely toilet paper your house!
