So here two girls sit in Ogden Utah ready to turn their dream of being snow bums into reality. With "The Best Snow on Earth" at our fingertips and mountains that call your name, we knew this was a dream that was achievable. Many people laughed, said it wouldn't happen. I guess they didn't know us. There are always those moments in life where things just start falling in to place. This is one of those times. We brought the peanut butter and out of nowhere came the jelly. The decision was made our B'Dassness would be revealed at our first annual women's rail jam. BAM. That's right, women's rail jam. We started putting together some of the details, then some of the details started putting us together. This was real, and it started getting really epic! It turned out it was a lot of work, but work that makes you smile. You learn new things, meet new people, and find cool new groups. It's not every day that you stumble upon one of the coolest groups created. SheJumps.org is a group organized to help encourage women to try new outdoor activities and start a supportive community of women trying the same things. WOW. Anyhow, this website does a lot better job explaining the SheJumps mission better than I ever could, so check it out.
Turns out She Jumps thinks our rail jam is pretty cool too. We continue to stumble upon people excited about our ideas and willing to help us make them a reality. I am loving this process and watching it all come together. So hold on to your chinos my friends, this is gonna be wicked awesome.
