Sometimes your best friend decides to move to Iowa. Then you are forced to hash through her bucket list for Utah. The Notch hike in the Uinta's just so happened to be on that list. So we packed up the car and headed there first thing in the morning. The dogs were so excited they couldn't stand it.
We finally got unloaded and headed up the trail. With perfect temps, indescribable beauty, two of the best dogs in the world, and your best friend, it was a guaranteed recipe for epicness. Today was the day we were going to be daring...we were going to allow Molly to be off leash. Those of you who know Molly know what kind of a risk I was taking. You see, Molly has endless amounts of energy, and she loves running. However, much to my surprise, Molly did UH-mazing! I couldn't have been more pleased. I think I had the same feeling that a mom would have when their kid quits peeing the bed.
The hike was long, but worth it. We saw and played by multiple lakes. Watched the dogs run and play. Listened to Kenai bark while herding Molly. Really the only thing that could have made this day better was...well...nothing.

10,020 ft. in elevation...No Joke. |

at 10,000 ft. there is still snow...and at 10,000 feet we are still klutzy. |

Sometimes it was hard to get EVERYONE posing at the same time. |
Most people drive days to see stuff like this, not me. People say my BFF and I are crazy to do some of the things we do. Seriously, the response I usually get is "your crazy". The way I see it, is you only live once. Peace out Bitties.
