The Lady and the Tramp...

 I have a best human friend and I am only in the market for regular friends.   However,sometimes you have the CUTEST puppy in the west...and she turns into a best friend.

Molly knows she is smokin' hot and knows how to pose.

This pooch really knows how to keep you entertained. Always gives you something to look forward to, and helps pull you out of slumps that seem everlasting.  I might be turning into one of those crazy pet owners that spoils their dog rotten, but she deserves it.

Mosquitos suck...

Sometimes your best friend decides to move to Iowa. Then you are forced to hash through her bucket list for Utah. The Notch hike in the Uinta's just so happened to be on that list. So we packed up the car and headed there first thing in the morning. The dogs were so excited they couldn't stand it.
We finally got unloaded and headed up the trail. With perfect temps, indescribable beauty, two of the best dogs in the world, and your best friend, it was a guaranteed recipe for epicness. Today was the day we were going to be daring...we were going to allow Molly to be off leash. Those of you who know Molly know what kind of a risk I was taking. You see, Molly has endless amounts of energy, and she loves running. However, much to my surprise, Molly did UH-mazing! I couldn't have been more pleased. I think I had the same feeling that a mom would have when their kid quits peeing the bed.

The hike was long, but worth it. We saw and played by multiple lakes. Watched the dogs run and play. Listened to Kenai bark while herding Molly.  Really the only thing that could have made this day better was...well...nothing.

10,020 ft. in elevation...No Joke.
at 10,000 ft. there is still snow...and at 10,000 feet we are still klutzy.

Sometimes it was hard to get EVERYONE posing at the same time.

Most people drive days to see stuff like this, not me. People say my BFF and I are crazy to do some of the things we do. Seriously, the response I usually get is "your crazy". The way I see it, is you only live once. Peace out Bitties.

Mammoth mountain or bust bitties...part 1

It all began on a Thursday afternoon we decided to leave the state of powder-hounds and make our way to laid back Cali. We kicked off the road trip with a delicious meal to get ourselves fueled and ready for all that awaited us at Mammoth Mountain a.k.a heaven. You see Mammoth mountain has had a record amount of snowfall this year. I didn't really understand what this would be like. However, I knew it was going to be pretty amazing. There are no words that can properly describe this experience. So here it goes.

Getting there was a process...at times it was painful. But we new what was waiting for us so we pressed forward. Somewhere around the 5th hour we started to get a little loopy. It involved a lot of licorice, peanut butter eggs, and alien talk. The cows began to look like lions, and the tractors looked like UFO's. Everything was uphill from here. Yes, uphill.

There was a lot of singing, video diaries, attempts at homework, but most of all laughing. So we thought it was very fitting to fill up at Giggle Springs gas station every time we had the chance. How could you not?

As we crossed the California border there was an agricultural inspection. It was mandatory for all vehicles to pull over. We knew this had to be serious. So serious in fact they just waved us through. On the other side of the inspection building we found this gem. Thank you California .

We finally arrived to our hotel. We crashed as soon as we got there. We had 9 hours of an exciting drive to sleep off. The next morning we both woke up before our alarms went off. We quickly got ready and began our short trek to Mammoth Mountain. This was our view on our way up. We were stoked beyond belief. The whole drive I couldn't help but hear a song from The Weepies play in my head
"All this beauty;
You might have to close your eyes
And slowly open wide
All this beauty;
We traveled all night"
For some reason The Weepies have a song for everything. So perfect and so fitting. It was seriously amazing. Just when I think it can't get any better is when we pull into Mammoth Lakes. You see, earlier that morning I received a message on my phone saying Mammoth Mountain received 44 new inches of snow. This was hard for me to picture, until we got to town. It soon became the only thing you could see. The stores were buried, and bus stops were tunneled into.

The next step in life...

Well...I know many people in my life were wondering when I was going to finally take the next step in my life. Most of my peers have already taken the plunge into growing up. I however, have chosen to remain as carefree as possible. But now my friends it is time. Most of you would think i'm talking about marriage...bahahahahahaha, WRONG....I have now joined a dodgeball league. It's true, I did it...judge me.

El Presidente...

It all started with a little conversation. It ended with an awesome club. So awesome in fact, its B'Dass...seriously...the B'Dasslers. I'm just glad I have people in my life that not only listen to my crazy ideas...but act them out. I probably have the coolest V.P. and Treasurer in town. There are still titles and positions yet to be determined. This is unstoppable.
